Adele burst into tears while recording a musical comeback after being surprised by her former teacher

The singer cried while filming ITV’s An Audience With Adele, when she reunited with the woman who taught her at Chestnut Grove School in Balham, south London.

Fans of the London Palladium show earlier this month recounted how actress Emma Thompson asked the star who inspired her when she was young.
And after the singer opened up about the impact the grade eight teacher had on her, the smiling Emma revealed that she was, in fact, in the audience.
An audience member said: âIt was a really emotional moment.
âAdele spoke fondly of how her teacher was her inspiration as a teenager. When she realized that she was actually in the audience, she immediately brought her on stage and burst into tears. It was the big surprise of the evening.
Adele, who aspired to be a cardiac surgeon early on, studied biology at Chestnut Grove before leaving for Brit School at age 13.
She admitted in 2015 that her medical dreams were derailed after discovering “the fun and the boys”.
After her reunion, members of the audience shared how Adele asked her comedian pal Alan Carr to entertain the crowd while she got her makeup fixed. And they said he was impressed with a comedic version of his Bob Dylan cover, Make You Feel My Love.
They said: âAlan jumped on stage to take over while Adele – whose makeup had leaked – went to have it touched up.
âHe did a brilliant job, he was super entertaining. At one point, he sang Make You Feel My Love, but made up his own words. It was hilarious. “
Guests on the star-studded comeback show – which airs tonight at 7:25 p.m. on ITV – included Stormzy, Mel B, Naomi Campbell and Gareth Southgate.
“Everyone is attacking her”
And speaking on the red carpet, Alan called the atmosphere âelectric,â laughing: âEveryone is choking for a bit of Adele.
Adele – who admitted earlier in the evening that she was “doing it” – opened the show with Hometown Glory before launching into Hello.
And afterwards, she confessed: âI got very emotional. I haven’t been home for so long and haven’t played a show here for so long. I am very, very nervous. Of course I am.
âI’m a huge fan of An Audience With – it was the highlight of my life every time it passed. I’m so excited to do it tonight, very, very excited.

ALESHA’S ATTACKS

After a candidate waitress sang her song on the talent show – which has a winning jackpot of £ 500,000 – Alesha called it ‘gimmicky’.

The TV star said: âI think your line-up still needs to be developed. The song was cute, but it was a little whimsical at times and looking at the acts we’ve had before I’m not sure you’re strong enough to make it through.
But Gary was unimpressed and jumped in to the contender’s defense.
He said, âLet’s just remember this is prime time television. Do not underestimate the confidence and courage it takes to come here.
The shocked candidate then said: “I feel like I have a career as a songwriter and I have so much more to offer.” With half a million at stake, we’re not surprised the claws have emerged.
