We had the pleasure of interviewing Luke Eisner and Gus Ross from VOILÀ in Zoom video!

VOILÀ – a Los Angeles-based pop-rock duo – have released a powerful new single “Therapy”, their second release of their year after “Drinking with Cupid”

“Therapy” talks about these messy feelings after the breakup, while also serving as a reminder for young people to get the help they need to deal with their mental health. By eliminating the toxic notions of masculinity that you can’t show your emotions and seek outside help, Luke and Gus attempt to destigmatize therapy for young people on all levels.

Luke and Gus shared a few words about what the song means to them:

Therapy is a song that highlights our missing pieces. We all have them, but it’s when we lose someone we love that we realize they may have been just a stopgap for our own insecurities from the start. This song highlights the angst associated with losing our safety net – “How did we go from being perfect two to being strangers in a room”.

About VOILÀ

Luke Eisner and Gus Ross form the LA-based pop-rock duo VOILÀ. Originally from Wisconsin and London respectively, the two combine authentic production, moving vocals and magnetic lyricism in a duet. With over 15 million streams to their music to date, their music has reached the top of the Spotify and Apple playlists and the Shazam charts. After success on Spotify and BBC radio, the group received high acclaim from Billboard, Pandora, Ones to Watch, and more. For the past two years, they have supported Kesha, The Fray, X Ambassadors, and Walk the Moon. Luke is also the protagonist of the Netflix romantic comedy, “Tall Girl,” produced by McG. They currently have songs in play with several major record label artists and have over 800,000 combined followers on the band and individual accounts.
