BTS Jin has proven himself to be a golden member of the K-pop supergroup as well by taking a big step forward as a solo artist.
More than a week after Jin officially deposited his Korean OST on Spotify, âYoursâ has set more and more records for the idol.
Since its release on November 7, Jin’s “Yours” immediately became the biggest first Korean OST in the history of the music streaming platform. On Monday, the OST also became the highest ranked OST on UK radio station Top 40, securing 24th place.
Fans also listed all of the other “Yours” records made. On iTunes, the OST managed to be number one in 94 countries, making Jin the first Asian solo to have the most number 1 this year. With this, he pushed himself to become the second artist whose song got the most first place.
Additionally, “Yours” became the fastest 80- and 90-note solo song in history on iTunes.
Other milestones include: The first Korean OST to enter the Spotify World Rankings, the biggest one-day streams for a Korean solo OST, and the first BTS solo project to top the iTunes global song chart for three days.

Jin created the music for Jun Ji Hyun and Joo Ji Hoon’s Korean drama, “Jirisan”. AStory first confirmed that the BTS member would be recording the main OST of the drama, claiming viewers would hear him midway through the drama.
In addition to singing the OST, Jin also sparked rumors that he would have an appearance on the show. For what it’s worth, he gave Jimin some pine mushrooms for his 26th birthday. Pine mushrooms from $ 1,000 to $ 2,000 per pound only grow on Mount Jiri. Thus, it is highly likely that Jin went there before Jimin’s birthday.
