BTS’s Suga is making waves with his new achievements and the ARMYs couldn’t be prouder! The exceptionally talented rapper, songwriter and record producer has added new records to his already growing personal accomplishments. On December 17th, Suga’s ‘Daechwita’ MV from his ‘D-2’ mixtape surpassed 324 million views on YouTube. On December 14, it hit 323 million views, and now it has set a record of one million more views in just 3 days.

“Daechwita” is Suga’s first song to reach over 300 million views and holds the record for most views among other solo songs by BTS members. He debuted at number 76 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, making him the first Korean soloist to appear simultaneously on the Hot 100 and Billboard 200 charts. “Daechwita” is a traditional Korean musical genre born at the end of the Joseon Dynasty. . It consists of military music played by wind and percussion instruments. In the clip, Suga plays a power-hungry king, furthering the story of “Agust D”.

Not only that, Suga reigns supreme on the US Spotify charts and earns 3 spots for the biggest debut by an Asian soloist. With the release of Juice Wrld’s “Girl of My Dreams” starring Suga on December 10, Suga managed to set a new major record on Spotify in the United States. The song is one of three main songs from “Fighting Demons”, from the posthumous Juice Wrld album. It collected 1,149,184 streams.

The next song is “Suga’s Interlude” from Halsey’s third studio album “Manic” which is produced by Suga himself and has been aired 500,935 times on Spotify. Finally, the third place belongs to ‘Daechwita’ who amassed 425,793 streams.
