BTS ‘Suga’s “Daechwita” Takes New Milestone on YouTube; Deets inside

BTS’s Suga has taken it to the next level on YouTube! Suga’s music video for ‘Daechwita’ surpassed 300 million views on YouTube at around 9:35 a.m. KST (6:05 a.m. IST) on October 7. It’s been about a year, 4 months, and 14 days since the clip was released on May 22. , 2020, at 6 p.m. KST.
Released as Agust D (rearrangement of his name Suga, which is derived from the initials DT, short for his birthplace, Daegu Town, and “Suga” spelled backwards.) “Daechwita” is the first clip Suga’s solo to hit 300 million views. Among BTS member’s solo clips, this is the second to achieve this feat after J-Hope’s “Chicken Noodle Soup” and also the fastest to do so.
‘Daechwita’ is part of Suga’s second mixtape, ‘D-2’, released as Agust D. ‘Daechwita’ combines a unique trap rhythm and with the traditional military music known as ‘Daechwita’, and further includes a Korean traditional instrument sounds. In the clip, Suga voices two opposing polar figures against a backdrop that has come to life in the traditional palace from South Korea’s historic periods.
