Former ‘Songwriter of the Year’ to bring 20 years of success to Silver Dollar Showroom – Buckrail
JACKSON, Wyo. — While Scotty Emerick’s name isn’t on every country music fan’s tongue, many of the songs he created certainly are.
A prolific songwriter best known for his work with Toby Keith, Emerick will perform and tell the stories behind his songs at the upcoming Silver Dollar Showroom session at the Wort Hotel on March 10, 2022.
Some of Emerick’s most recognizable hymns include “I Love this Bar”, “Beer for My Horses”, “I’m Just Talkin’ About Tonight”, “As Good as I Once Was”, and “Whiskey Girl”. “In addition to writing those favorite songs and regularly appearing as a special guest on the megastar’s nationwide tours, Emerick has also written for the likes of George Strait, Willie Nelson, Kenny Chesney, Billy Currington and Sawyer. Brown.
In 2004, Emerick was named “Songwriter of the Year” by the Nashville Songwriters Association. Her own album, The Coast is Clear, landed four singles on the country charts.
Silver Dollar Showroom Sessions at the iconic Silver Dollar Bar offer great dining and world-class entertainment in an intimate venue.
