Jason aldean covered two country hits at a recent VIP performance in Florida.

The country and Georgia-born superstar performed Garth Brooks “Far too young (to smell that damn old)” for fans in West Palm Beach, Florida, who purchased their VIP package during the Back In The Saddle tour on October 29.

“This song just came out, and I wasn’t very old at the time. So I didn’t really understand what the song meant. I think I understand it a little more now, the older I get, ”Aldean said before returning to the popular Brooks song.

“Much Too Young (To Feel This Damn Old)” is Brooks’ debut single, and the first single from his self-titled debut album.

In addition to performing the Brooks hit, Aldean also covered “Time Marches On” by Tracy Lawrence, a song by someone he called one of his favorite singers.

“I thought we were in the trust business so one day I said to him, I was like ‘hey man, I had a poster of you in my room.’ And he kind of looked at me like I was really weird all of a sudden, “Aldean explained before the performance.” I was like ‘dude, I’m just saying the poster was cool.’ He was like pushed back on a Harley, it was like a cool poster. I don’t think he knew what to think of me after that. So luckily it didn’t ruin our friendship and remains one of my favorite singers to this day.

Co-written by Bobby Braddock, “Time Marches On” is the second single and title from Lawrence’s album, Time goes on.

Aldean’s VIP Package on the Back In The Saddle Tour includes a private acoustic concert in the ‘Wolf Lodge’, limited to a handful of fans, plus exclusive merchandise, Aldean’s Wolf Moon Bourbon tasting, ticket for the show, and more.

The Georgia native recently announced plans to release his 10th studio album, Macon, Georgia.

Arrived on April 22, 2022 via BBR Music Group, the two-part project features 30 tracks, including 10 live tracks and 20 new originals. The album will also feature the first single “If I Didn’t Love You,” a duet with Carrie Underwood.

On November 12, fans will have access to fourteen new tracks as Aldean releases the first part of his two-part album.

“Where you were raised has such a big influence on who you become and to me it’s no different… especially from a musical point of view,” said Aldean. “My hometown of Macon greatly contributed to my musical education. Growing up in an environment at the crossroads between country music, southern rock, blues and R&B, it was only natural to mix different sounds on my path.

Additionally, Aldean recently wrapped up the Back In The Saddle tour in Tampa, Florida at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheater on Saturday, October 30.

Aldean will now enjoy a short break before returning to the Park Theater at Park MGM in Las Vegas for his three-night Back in the Saddle: Las Vegas 2021 mini-residency which runs December 9-11.
