Jason Aldean takes 25th place with “Blame It On You” ahead of Back In The Saddle tour
Country superstar Jason Aldean scored his 25th country radio hit with his new single, “Blame it on you” climbed to the top of Billboard Country Airplay chart July 19. The song currently ranks number one on both the Mediabase /Aircheck country Singles table and BillboardThis week’s Country Airplay.
“25 # 1 songs are bigger than I could have dreamed of while driving this delivery truck in Macon, Georgia,” Aldean said in a statement. “This one’s for the fans, country radio and my team for taking this crazy race with us.”
After reaching the milestone, Aldean also thanked the songwriters Michael Tyler, Brian Gene White, John Edwards, Kurt Allison and Tully Kennedy.
The track marks consecutive highs for its sixth consecutive No.1-selling album, 9. “Blame It On You” gives Aldean his 34th Top 10 song on BillboardHot Country Songs since their chart debut in 2005 which is more than any other artist to date.
