The duo on the song ‘Anyone Seen My Heart’ which appears on Mick’s brother Chris’ latest album, ‘Mixing Up The Medicine’, released on September 10th.
Speaking of the trail and the seas behind it, Chris said, âI found this obscure poet called Thomas Beddoes. I was reading this book by Ezra Pound, and he mentioned Beddoes. I found his book titled Death Joke Book, in which he wrote this kind of strange plays.
Two other tracks on the album have words inspired by Beddoes. Chris continued, âHe was a poet from Bristol and his father knew Shelley, so he came right after the romantic poets. He was an alcoholic and he committed suicide by poisoning himself in Basel in 1849. He was only 45 years old. I read some of his lines, took them and put them to music.

BMG editors said of the book: âIt’s Chris Jagger’s turn to unveil one of the most colorful and exotic periods in British cultural history. It unfolds the story of an insider about his childhood among the bomb sites and post-war Dartford ration books, weaving through the glittering undergrounds of counter-cultural London of the late 1960s and passing months in India before most took this route.
âIt covers the ups and downs of acting and film work, and the pursuit of his own unique musical adventures that have resulted in a number of albums and concerts around the world. In the end, it is the alluring story of a tight-knit family and deep brotherly bonds.
Last month (August 26), it was revealed that the Rolling Stones were still set to play upcoming U.S. tour dates as scheduled despite the recent death of drummer Charlie Watts.
