1. Damien Jurado
Damien Jurado, intimate acoustic musician and acclaimed songwriter, has announced his upcoming album, reggae movie starwhich is slated for release on June 24. With the news came his latest storytelling single, “Taped In Front Of A Live Studio Audience,” which you can check out below.
2. Clinton Feon
Legendary reggae singer-songwriter Clinton Fearon released his latest single earlier this week. The song, “Trod On”, features Fearon’s signature springy vocals and positive vibes. Check out the new track from the master of the genre below.
3. Regina Spektor
The silversmith and musician released her latest single today (April 29). This song, “Up The Mountain,” features the artists’ exquisite imagery and puns and delivers a sense of drama in every note. It’s an impeccable release before his next album, Home, before and afterr, which is set to drop on June 24.
The popular pop-punk artist has released his latest single, “See You Soon”, which presages his upcoming album, Beatopia, which is slated for release on July 15. The new song has both a bright pop sensibility with a bit of subtle industrial flair. Check it out below.
5. Mandy Moore
The former bubble gum pop star turned acclaimed actress is gearing up for her next album. This disc, In real life, slated for release May 13, will feature Moore’s latest single, “Four Moons,” which she just released this week along with the accompanying music video. 6. Fatlip & Blu
Rap duo Fatlip & Blu released their latest single earlier this week. The song, “Hollywood Celebrity”, also features artist Bilal. It harkens back to the golden age of rap music where storytelling and mirth were prized, along with fun puns. Check it out below.
7. Big Gigantic with Aloe Blacc
The two released their new single, “Keep on Rising,” this week. And the new track features the voice of Blacc, who has to be one of the top 16 singers around the world. With his soft yet deep voice (how does he do it?), Blacc brings energy and soul to 10. Check it out below.
8. Joy Downer
The talented singer (and collaborator of Beck and Mike McCready) performed on The Late Late Show with James Corden this week. Downer performed her new single, “Chain Reaction,” which you can check out below in all its pomp and delicacy.
Flume released their latest single earlier this week. The song “Palaces” features the one and only Damon Albarn (of the band Gorillaz). The new track is soft and gentle, thoughtful and piercing. Check it out below in all its measured glory.
10. Adrian Quesada
Half of the award-winning rock band Black Pumas, born in Austin, Texas, Adrian Quesada is going all out on his own with a new solo project slated for release this year. This album will contain his excellent new single, “El Paraguas”, which he released this week, as well as a new music video. Check out the emotional melody below.
Hugely popular electronic group ODESZA have released jag single after single since the band’s upcoming 2022 LP release. Their latest, “Behind The Sun,” continues their string of sticky, almost tribal songs. Like the others before them, it’s a must to listen to on repeat. Check out the new song below.

Sam Smith has one of the four best singing voices on planet earth. As such, their new single, “Love Me More”, which they released this week, is an epic and delicious offering. Check out the fluid and emotional new single and accompanying music video below.
The legendary pop-rock band recently announced their upcoming farewell tour, which kicks off in Seattle in late August. 19. Baby Tate

The stalwart Seattle-born band released their latest album today. This disc, Every shade of bluepresents the focused and beautiful new single, “Paradigm,” which you can check out below in all of its tight writing and brilliant production prowess.
