Rock the Mote Festival returns to Maidstone’s Mote Park with tributes to Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones, Whitney Houston, David Bowie, Dolly Parton and more
The ultimate tribute festival brings a weekend of your favorite bands to Maidstone.
Rock the Mote, held at Mote Park, is a three-day festival that will pay tribute to Fleetwood Mac, the Rolling Stones, Britney Spears and Whitney Houston.
With over 40 artists on three stages, Rock the Mote is one of the UK’s biggest tribute festivals.
The stellar lineup will take the stage on Saturday and Sunday, but visitors can arrive to set up their tents in the on-site camping area starting Friday to really make it a weekend.
The music is spread across three stages – the rock stage, the pop stage and the heavy rock stage – so there’s something for everyone.
On Saturday, the rock scene will see performances from Fleetingwood Mac, Guns 2 Roses, Fell Out Boy and The Stones, while on Sunday artists such as Ziggy as Above, Coolplay and Nerdvana.
The pop scene kicks off on Saturday with Definitely Dolly, ABBA Revival and Absolute Britney, followed by artists such as Levena Johnson as Whitney Houston, Kylie Alike and Miss Lady Gaga on Sunday.
The heavy rock stage, which is only open on Saturdays, will see bands such as Some Kind of Metallica, Counterfeit Kiss, Sabbotage and Dep Leppard take to the stage.
The family festival will also include a funfair and children’s activities for young visitors to enjoy between groups.
While the kids are having fun at the fair, the adults can visit the beer, cider and beer village and the prosecco, gin and cocktail fair.
There will also be a lively street food festival where you can taste dishes from all over the world.
Rock the Mote takes place at Mote Park, Maidstone, from Friday August 5th to Sunday August 7th. Book your tickets online here.
