Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke is one of the world’s most famous songwriters and has one of the most distinct falsetto voices. But the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree with Yorke and her son, Noah, who released a new solo single on Saturday, September 25, “Trying Too Hard (Lullaby)”, which looks a lot like the revolutionary British band.

Listen to the single here:

The guitarist of the famous Grammy-winning band, Jonny Greenwood even went so far as to praise the new song, which you can check out via Greenwood’s Twitter feed here.

“Horn, what a glorious piece of music – today was the first time I heard it, and I’m so impressed. Nice job, Noah, ”Greenwood wrote.

Radiohead, who recently took part in the social media campaign to raise awareness about climate change, is also releasing a three-disc Child A / Amnesiac reissue on November 5, which will bring together their LPs Child A (2000) and Amnesiac (2001) and the third disc of alternative takes and unpublished music.

The elder Yorke, who released his first full-length soundtrack in 2018, included his son playing drums in the production. Noah, who was born in 2001, is the offspring of Yorke and her longtime partner, artist Rachel Owen, whom Yorke met at the University of Exeter in the UK.

Radiohead also released the video for their latest single, “If You Say The Word,” on Thursday 23 September. Which you can watch below:
