Virtual artist Han YuA, who recently made his K-pop star debut, will drop the music video for his debut single “I Like That” on Wednesday night.
The song was released along with a short teaser clip of the music video on April 12. The full version of the music video features YuA with dancers from 1MILLION Dance Studio. Dohee Kim from the dance studio came up with the choreography for “I Like That.” Production company Vikings League, which has produced music videos for girl groups Red Velvet and IZ*ONE, has produced Han’s next music video.
The song is written by producer Park Woo-seong, who is best known for writing music for girl group Mamamoo and singer Chungha.
YuA made headlines by signing a management deal with YG KPlus in February, becoming the first virtual artist to be represented by the agency.
She was first introduced to the public in 2019 as one of the main female characters in the VR game “Focus on You”. She used to be an in-game VR animation, but video game developer Smilegate launched her as a 3D virtual influencer in August last year. For the three-dimensional version of YuA, Smilegate worked with Giantstep, a content solutions company that also created the AI avatars for girl group aespa.
